Old Sedan Church

You are travelling on Highway 89 in Montana. You go through Bridger Canyon – it’s a heart-stopping drive as the road narrows and a cliff falls away on your left. You emerge from the canyon and into the Shields Valley. You take another curve, and a humble, little church comes into your view.

Sedan Church was built in 1898. It has a long history, and unlike many pioneer-era churches, it has been lovingly restored. Those interested can read more on the Sedan Montana blog: https://sedanmontana.net/sedan-church/.

“In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears.”

-2 Samuel 22:7
